Faux Bronze Statue Restoration Project
Faux bronze statue that was broken in transit on its way to an auction. The arm was totally snapped off and the only way for us to restore the arm with any certainty of it not breaking again was drill out the arm and the body and then to glue a brass rod inside.
Once the glue went off we filled all the cracks and colour matched the break to hide the repair. The statue was sold at the auction and achieved the original reserve.
