Bringing an old deck to its former glory
Not all decks are beyond repair! For this project, we encountered a deck and stairs had not seen any attention for many years – and it showed!
Rather than starting from scratch and replacing the deck, we started by treating the timber with a cleaning product and then sanding it back to bring out the original timber’s base colour.
We then treated the timber with a natural oil to stop mould and keep the original colour.
The result from all this hard work was a deck that looks as good as new. With proper care, it should stay in good condition for a long time to come.
